Gifts for Family & Friends
As
these hand-made items are made only by myself, due to time involved in making
them, availability of supplies, colours etc., they are available only on a
limited basis.
I can guarantee that you will
not find these in a store, except for the tea cosies, which I make for
friends to sell in 'The British Stop', a shop they own and operate in Hudson,
Florida, a small town town nearby.
While it may be
possible to special order a particular item, please, please get in touch with
me first as this depends on time needed to make a certain item,and again,
availability of supplies and colours.
I truly hope
there is enough interest in these items as this is something I really enjoy
doing, and have done ever since I was a little girl growing up in England. As
we had no TV my mother, sister and myself would sit and knit, and my Dad (who
would be trying to read a book) would say "All I can hear are needles
clicking". Now, living here in Florida for several years as we do, there is
not too much call for wooly items and my house can only hold so many tea
cozies or doilies, and my family says "Oh, no, not another one".
